The Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE) celebrates its 17th year of existence from 5 to 14 October and it promises to be the best and biggest ever.
This year’s Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE) will be one of the most important events of national and international magnitude to be held by the Free State Province. The preparations for hosting this dazzling event started 17 years ago and I make a bold statement to say, we have passed with flying colours since its inception in 1997 - and this year we will continue to raise the bar.
The nine-day event will showcase the finest artistic talent in a musical journey that will bring together the people of Bloemfontein, South Africa and the world in a celebration of creative expression.
